Who is the fireplace for?
It was designed to enhance the ambiance of the children's room in the most beautiful way. But even adults and the elderly appreciate its presence.
Is the fireplace a game?
No, the fireplace is a decorative, atmospheric, and unifying object. It's a meeting place and a place to play nearby, but the product wasn't designed to be played with or even be the centerpiece of a room.
Do fireplaces make sound?
The fireplaces are not equipped with speakers. However, it is possible to add crackling sounds and even other nature or musical ambiances with background noises using the Oramood app by inserting a phone or tablet. For an enhanced experience, use a portable Bluetooth speaker, place it near the fireplace and listen to the ambiances from the Oramood app.
What makes all our models different?
What sets our models apart is their size. Each Oramood fireplace model offers a unique aesthetic and specific dimensions to fit different spaces and preferences.
The Rustik
Although it's the smallest, the Rustik offers a beautiful, realistic format. It's the version inspired by the very first fireplace made by the founder to reassure his children. Its simple lines are inspired by Scandinavian design.
The Nordik
Slightly larger than the Rustik, the Nordik model features a more vertical and modern silhouette, while retaining a timeless Scandinavian style. Its four corner pillars are made of Canadian maple.
The Scandik
This is the largest model in the range. It was designed for larger rooms and truly gives the impression of a real fireplace, both in its size and its presence. The only model available in all black.

How do I manage the different lighting modes of my fireplace?
Oramood fireplaces are equipped with a switch that makes them easy to turn on and off. This switch also provides access to the different lighting modes. Simply turn it off and on again using the switch until you reach your preferred lighting mode (flame, static, pulse).
Do the fireplaces plug into an electrical outlet ?
They plug into the wall , and a switch allows you to turn them on and off directly from the power cord. Good to know, Oramood only uses $2 to $3 of electricity per year even without ever turning it off.
How do I maintain and clean my fireplace?
To maintain your fireplace, use a soft, dry cloth to dust regularly. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives that could damage the wood finish.
Do you offer additional spare parts or accessories?
To obtain a replacement part, simply write to us at hello@oramood.com . We will then be able to verify your fireplace's warranty and, if applicable, send you the part free of charge. (Some exceptions apply. It is important to consult the complete warranty policy offered by Oramood on its fireplaces.)
Use and safety
Are Oramood fireplaces safe for our children?
Our fireplaces are safe and have been tested for several months in family households and daycare centers without any incidents. All electronic components meet CE and even UL safety standards.
It is important to note that fireplaces are not toys and are not designed for children to interact with. It is therefore the responsibility of adults to supervise their use.
Does the fireplace emit heat?
No, Oramood fireplaces do not emit heat. They are designed to replicate the warm glow of a wood fire using LED lighting, without giving off any actual heat. This makes them perfectly safe for use in children's bedrooms or any other space in the home.
Can I leave my fireplace on all day?
Yes, Oramood fireplaces are designed to be left on continuously. Thanks to their low energy consumption, they can run all day without any problems without giving off any real heat.
Are Oramood fireplaces and accessories easy to assemble?
Yes, our fireplaces and accessories are designed for quick and easy assembly. An assembly guide is included with each product, and instructional videos are available on our website to guide you through the process.
Order and delivery
Where can I get Oramood products?
You've come to the right place. The only way to purchase an Oramood product is to place an order on the Shopify-secured e-commerce site, Oramood.com. Oramood does not have any resellers. If you see any elsewhere, they are not our products and will not be certified.
How much is shipping ?
Delivery is $20 for fireplaces and can go up to $40 for certain accessories. Orders are delivered within an average of 7 business days anywhere in Canada. (Some conditions may apply for remote areas or areas located outside of major urban centers. If applicable, we will contact you before shipping.)
We ship with trusted partners such as Canada Post. In the event of a strike or service disruption, we may use an alternative carrier, such as Purolator or UPS. This exceptional change may result in additional delays beyond our control.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, Oramood only delivers to Canada.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and PayPal.

Can I track my order online?
Yes, once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number associated with the delivery company used in your area. You can track the delivery status by going directly to the carrier's website.

Can I come and collect my home in person?
Currently, all orders are shipped through our delivery partners, and in-person pickup is not available. This allows us to ensure fast, safe, and consistent service across Canada. If you have any special needs, please feel free to contact us at hello@oramood.com .
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, you should receive your order within 7 working days.
Can I give it as a gift or have it delivered to a different address than the billing address?
Yes, absolutely! When you place your order, you'll have the option to choose a delivery address different from your billing address. This allows you to have the product delivered to your desired address, whether for yourself or as a gift.
Where are fireplaces made?
Oramood fireplaces are proudly designed and manufactured in Canada, using high-quality materials from local suppliers.
How to purchase a fireplace as an institution?

Purchase order orders are shipped 1 to 2 weeks after receipt of payment.
Return and warranty
What is the return policy?
You have 30 days after receipt to return a product if you are not completely satisfied. The conditions are as follows:
- The product must be intact and returned in its original packaging.
- Return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days after receipt of the returned product.
To initiate a return, please contact us via the Contact Us section, indicating the reason for the return, your contact details, and your availability.
What are the payment and refund processing times?
Refunds are typically processed within 10-14 business days after receipt of the returned product. The refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Are Oramood products covered by a warranty?
Yes, all our products are backed by a full one-year warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and material quality issues. To learn more, visit our Lifetime Warranty page.
What is the lifespan and warranty of the Oramood LED bulb?
The LED bulb used in our homes has an estimated lifespan of over 40,000 hours. In addition, we offer a free replacement for 1 year in case of failure.
What are the lifetime warranty conditions for Oramood fireplaces?
The lifetime warranty is reserved for registered users who already own an Oramood fireplace. The warranty covers manufacturing defects as well as issues related to material quality.
The LED light is not part of the lifetime warranty. It has a 1-year warranty.

How to order an Oramood fireplace as an institution?

Is the fireplace suitable for use in public establishments (schools, libraries, etc.)?
Yes, our fireplaces are designed to be safe and suitable for educational environments. They do not produce heat and comply with safety standards. They are also easy to install and relocate, with no wall preparation required.
What are the delivery times for institutional orders?
Orders placed on the oramood.com transactional site are delivered within a normal period of 7 working days.
Purchase order orders are shipped 1 to 2 weeks after receipt of payment.
Do you offer preferential rates for bulk orders?
At Oramood, our prices are set fairly from the outset to ensure accessibility for all. Therefore, we do not offer preferential rates for bulk orders.
How can I get an invoice in my establishment's name?
If you placed your order on our transactional site, simply write to us at hello@oramood.com to receive your detailed invoice.
When ordering by purchase order, you will automatically receive a detailed invoice containing all the necessary information.
